Maxava is a worldwide provider of innovative High Availability and Disaster Recovery software solutions for the IBM i platform. Partners have been using Maxava HA software for almost 20 years to ensure business continuity, reduce risk and meet regulatory requirements. Maxava’s software ensures business resilience for a cross-section of the world’s most demanding IBM i customers through SaaS, Cloud, Subscription and traditional Licensed software models.
Originally founded in 2000, the company identified an opportunity to develop a new family of software for the IBM i market, developing and delivering High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions to critical infrastructure-oriented companies with large workloads and high transaction rates.
Pooling their collective co-founders experience in delivering IBM solutions to large-scale telecommunications providers, their vision was to develop a new suite of software solutions that would not only meet the needs of enterprise scale environments, but could also be packaged to provide small to medium sized companies with the same mission-critical support in a solution that was easy to install, easy to manage and delivered at an affordable price.
Maxava’s first international customer sites included a telecommunications provider in Iceland, further underscoring the company’s goals of providing software that could be scaled for use across any geography, language or business.
Providing critical business continuity solutions to customers around the globe, Maxava’s implementations span a diverse set of industries including Banking, Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Healthcare. Many of the worlds most trusted consumer brands are supported by IT environments strengthened by the use of the Maxava HA suite.
Today, Maxava is an IBM Business Partner and has more than 500 customers in 40+ countries with offices and staff based in New Zealand, Japan, the US, and Europe. Maxava remains a privately held New Zealand based company with independent directors.
